Converting to an ABS means that we now have greater flexibility in how we operate and lead the business. One of the most exciting aspects of this transition is that we’ve been able to promote five of our key team leaders into director roles: HR Director Sarah Poole, Business Development and Marketing Director Marie Walls, IT Director Robin Davies, Finance Director Philipa Roberts, and Operations and Innovation Director Tony Woodward. Their expertise from non-legal backgrounds will bring fresh perspectives to the table, helping us to expand and innovate in ways that weren’t previously possible.
This change couldn’t have come at a better time. We’ve just wrapped up our most successful financial year yet, and our team has grown to nearly 250 employees. By embracing the ABS model, we’re positioning ourselves to continue that upward momentum while ensuring we remain agile in a fast-changing industry.
While we’ve embraced this exciting transformation, one thing remains the same – we’re still an LLP and committed to providing the same trusted legal services that our clients rely on. However, the added diversity and commercial expertise in our leadership team will allow us to evolve and offer even better service as we move forward.
Rothera Bray’s CEO Christina Yardley said: “This conversion strengthens our management structure by bringing a broader range of talent and expertise to our leadership team. By embracing the flexibility of an ABS, we are able to diversify our operations and ensure that we can respond to the evolving needs of our clients with greater commercial acumen and technical expertise.”
We’re looking forward to this next phase of growth and innovation. This new structure will only enhance the way we serve our clients and drive the firm forward.
