The awards recognise excellence and leadership in personal injury law, and Rothera Bray’s Serious Injury Team has earned a place among the best in the UK for their outstanding work on behalf of clients suffering from catastrophic, life-changing injuries.

The team has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Catastrophic Injury Team of the Year
  • Claimant Team of the Year
  • Clinical Negligence Team of the Year

In addition, the following team members have been shortlisted individually, representing the depth and breadth of experience held in this specialist team:

  • Greg Almond (Head of the Serious Injury team) – Catastrophic Injury Lawyer of the Year & Claimant Lawyer of the Year
  • Ian Johnson (Partner) – Catastrophic Injury Lawyer of the Year
  • Seetal Patel (Solicitor) – Claimant Lawyer of the Year
  • Julie Walker (Consultant) – Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year

In recent years, the team has represented clients in several high-profile cases across the UK. These include victims of the 2023 Nottingham attacks, families and victims of substandard maternity services and several high-profile inquest cases involving failures of mental health services. Their legal expertise has helped secure substantial compensation and provided necessary support for individuals whose lives were forever altered by those traumatic events.

Consultant Julie Walker said, “Being shortlisted in every serious injury category is a tremendous achievement and reflects not only our dedication to prioritising the wellbeing of our clients over volume of cases, but the level of expertise consistently demonstrated across the full team. We strive to not only secure compensation but also to provide crucial support that helps clients rebuild their lives after devastating injuries.”

Partner Greg Almond added, “While it’s an honour to receive individual recognition, I am most proud of the team nominations. Our success comes from a collective effort—often unseen. Knowing that our success improves the lives of our clients is the greatest reward we could ask for.”

The winners of the Personal Injury Awards will be announced on 28th November. Rothera Bray remain committed to delivering the highest standard of legal representation to those who need it most, and this recognition reinforces their role as trusted advocates for serious injury victims.
