How we're reducing our environmental impact
We continue to invest in systems and processes that help minimise waste and improve efficiency across the firm, including:
- Providing secure online portals for clients and third parties to share documents digitally
- Encouraging paper-light working through e-documents, e-billing and electronic signatures
- Replacing individual office waste bins with recycling, food waste and confidential waste facilities
- Moving subscriptions and publications to digital formats wherever possible
- Hosting our website on servers that run on sustainable energy sources
- Using motion-sensor lighting and water-saving facilities within our offices
- Replacing disposable cups with reusable alternatives
- Providing reusable water bottles and travel mugs for colleagues
- Using environmentally friendly cleaning products
- Encouraging colleagues to switch off equipment when not in use
- Conducting meetings virtually where appropriate to reduce unnecessary travel
- Investing in technology that supports flexible and hybrid working
Sustainable travel
We encourage colleagues to consider sustainable travel options wherever practical. To support this, we offer access to schemes such as Cycle to Work, Bus to Work and Tram to Work, helping employees reduce both travel costs and environmental impact.
