The Renters Reform Bill has been a hot topic of conversation within the property sector ever since it was first pledged by the Conservatives in their 2019 manifesto and following the publication of the fairer private rented sector white paper published in June last year.

The government has announced a new deal for private renters including a ban on no-fault evictions and making it easier for tenants to keep pets in an attempt to “redress the balance between landlords and 4.4 million private rented tenants”.
