Career Highlights

  • Following qualification in 1980, Chris practiced in central London, dealing with civil and commercial litigation cases in the County and High Courts, Court of Appeal and House of Lords, from 1981 – 1996, both as solicitor and Partner
  • A particular highlight was acting for private landlords in a Rent Act 1977 “two homes” case in 1985, securing judgement for the client, on appeal to the House of Lords
  • In 1996 Chris changed tack to practice all types of family law until 1999 and then he and his family moved to Market Harborough and started at Bray & Bray practising family law
