These recognitions are a true testament to the remarkable strides Rothera Bray has made as a firm, as well as to the leadership and vision that Christina brings to the table.

As a firm, we’re gathering real momentum, and we’re incredibly proud of what sets us apart in the industry. Our growth and success are rooted in the tough decisions we make to always do the right thing—whether or not it’s the easiest path. We are driven by a commitment to take our people with us, as well as those we serve, by making choices that prioritise long-term positive impact and inclusivity.

Christina’s leadership has been pivotal to Rothera Bray’s expansion and evolution. Under her guidance, the firm has tripled in size over the past three years while strengthening its regional presence and diversifying its service offerings. Through her unwavering focus on a people-first culture, enhanced employee wellbeing, and sustainability, Christina has helped shape Rothera Bray into a dynamic, future-focused organisation that continues to raise the bar within the legal sector.

The Leader of the Year Award is a particularly proud achievement, as it is selected from all category winners and recognises an individual who embodies outstanding leadership. This honour highlights the lasting impact of Christina’s collaborative and visionary approach—not just within the firm, but across the wider business community.

Alongside Christina, we also celebrate the achievements of other leaders who were recognised at the awards. Their dedication and drive mirror our own values and commitment to excellence. The strong leadership talent showcased across the East Midlands highlights the incredible work being done across many industries, and we are proud to be counted among such an accomplished group.

Reflecting on the recognition, Christina said:
“Winning these awards is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire firm. We’ve created a culture that prioritises people, values work-life balance and strives for excellence in everything we do.

“This recognition motivates us to keep pushing the boundaries and making a positive impact, both within the firm and the communities we serve.”

Sam Metcalf, chair of the award panel, noted, “We had a record number of entries to the Leadership Awards this year, and the standard of this year’s nominations was higher than ever, displaying the depth and breadth of leadership talent in the East Midlands.”

The awards ceremony, held at the Crowne Plaza in Nottingham, celebrated the remarkable leaders who are shaping the future of business in the East Midlands. We’re incredibly proud of this recognition and look forward to building on this success, continuing to grow, and staying true to the values that make Rothera Bray a firm that stands out and leads by example.
