As president, Jason will now be the most public face of Nottinghamshire Law Society and under this new role he will be looking to build upon the good work of previous Preseidents while also representing the Society and it’s members at various events.

Jason steps into the role after Laura Pinkney, formerly a director at Cartwright King and now the head of Nottingham Trent University’s Legal Advice Centre, concluded her tenure as President on Tuesday 30th April.

Philip Turton of Ropewalk Chambers succeeds Jason in the role of Vice-President.

As President, Jason will be the most public face of Nottinghamshire Law Society. Under this new role, Jason will be looking to build upon the good work of previous Presidents while also chairing the Society’s Council meetings and representing the Society and its members at various events.

Jason said: “It is an honour and a privilege to be President of the Nottinghamshire Law Society. I look forward to the challenge of fostering a strong sense of community, where people are keen to interact and are proud to be associated with such a prominent and vibrant Society”.

Jason has been affiliated with Nottinghamshire Law Society since 2015 when he took a seat on its Council as Honorary Secretary, thus giving him the opportunity to work with others in the local legal community whose path he may not otherwise have crossed. Jason also served as the Society’s Vice President from 2018-2019.
