Jayde supports Consultant Kendal Litherland with Professional Negligence matters and contributes to a wide range of cases across the Dispute Resolution team.

She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her approachable, people-focused style. Jayde has a talent for making complex issues clear and relatable, helping clients feel informed and at ease throughout the process.

Career Highlights

  • During her undergraduate studies in 2021, Jayde worked as a Student Researcher, contributing to academic research commissioned by the Association of Law Teachers. Her role involved undertaking legal research, reviewing case law and academic literature, and analysing qualitative data which ultimately led to an academic piece being published
  • In her final year, as part of her LLM, Jayde gained practical experience with SHU Law, a university law clinic, supporting fee earners across civil litigation, criminal appeals, personal injury, and private client matters. She took instructions, drafted letters and advice, reviewed evidence, and helped manage case files and client communication
  • Alongside her studies (2016–2021), Jayde held front-facing roles in retail and youth work, which helped her develop strong customer service, communication, and client-handling skills. These roles strengthened her ability to stay composed, manage sensitive situations, and build rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Between 2021 and September 2025, Jayde built extensive legal experience as a Paralegal, starting in the Property and Residential team before progressing to the Professional Negligence team and the in-house Debt Recovery department at an East Midlands law firm
  • In November 2025, Jayde joined Rothera Bray as a Senior Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team
