Gita supports Family Law Partner David Berridge at our Leicester office, specialising in various aspects of family law. She helps clients with divorce and financial remedy applications, prepares essential financial documents, and organises court bundles.
With over 30 years of experience in the legal field, Gita is a dedicated and detail-oriented member of the Family Law team. Her meticulous, practical, and diligent approach ensures that all work is completed accurately and on time.

- Gita first began her career as a legal secretary in the 1980s, providing secretarial support at a range of Leicestershire law firms
- Between 2001 and 2013 Gita worked as a Legal Secretary at an East Midlands based law firm

Employment law update: what’s changing from 6 April 2026?
From 6 April 2026 employers will face a number of changes to statutory payment rates and employment law compensation limits. These changes, which are the result of both annual rate adjustments and wider reforms under the Employment Rights Act 2025, will increase employer costs, expand eligibility for workers, and require updates to payroll processes, policies and budgeting.
