As a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution Team Wendy will assist with new client enquiries and the preparation of documents and trial bundles to be sent to the client, to the Court and to other legal firms as well as routine correspondence.
Wendy is approachable but direct and to the point when dealing with clients. She is proactive in assisting where she is able and directs enquiries to her supervising fee earner where necessary.
Career Highlights
- From 1987 to 1990 Wendy worked at Bernard Wright & Cursham Solicitors as a secretary to one of the partners
- In 1990 Wendy joined Actons Solicitors, as a secretary in the Company Commercial department before transferring to the Wills & Probate department
- Wendy joined Jackson Quinn Solicitors in 1995, working as a secretary in the Criminal department
- Between 1997 and 1999 Wendy worked as a secretary in the Personal Injury department at Actons Solicitors, mainly dealing with motor insurance personal injury claims
- From 2005 to 2016 Wendy worked for Service Scan Evaluations, making mystery guest calls to establishments and typing up reports
- In 2016 Wendy joined Stephen Burdon Solicitors as a secretary, before overseeing the General Office on behalf of the Practice Manager
- In 2017 Wendy joined Shakespeare Martineau as a secretary to the Dispute Resolution team, coordinating all administration and billing for a team of six, before being promoted to Senior Litigation Legal Secretary and Coordinator
- Wendy joined Rothera Bray as a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team in April 2024
