Expertise

Ruth works in all aspects of residential conveyancing but has a particular interest in the Land Registry and enjoys tackling complex situations and applications.

Ruth pays great attention to detail to ensure that her client’s experience is as smooth as possible. Her approach is grounded in empathy; she cares about providing clients with excellent service and helping them to understand what can be a bewildering process.

Career Highlights

  • Ruth began her legal career in 2006 as a Trainee Solicitor at a medium-sized firm in Lincolnshire. After qualifying as a solicitor she remained with the firm until 2011, gaining valuable experience across various practice areas.
  • After a career break to raise her family, Ruth returned to the legal profession in 2016 as a Legal Secretary at a small firm near Nottingham, supporting the Private Client and Residential Conveyancing departments.
  • Ruth joined Woolley, Beardsleys & Bosworth in 2022 as a Paralegal, continuing her work in Private Client and Residential Conveyancing. She was promoted to Senior Paralegal in 2023 and successfully regained her Solicitor qualification in January 2025.
  • In 2024, Ruth collaborated with HM Land Registry on proposed improvements to the digital registration service, contributing her practical insights to the development of future processes.
  • Following the merger of Woolley, Beardsleys & Bosworth with Rothera Bray, Ruth became part of the Rothera Bray team in June 2025.
