Hollie Moore is a Senior Paralegal in Rothera Bray’s Wills and Probate department and is based at our Mapperley office.

Hollie is a Senior Paralegal in the Private Client department, she works alongside Nelissa Hicks and Jasmin Marshall across a wide range of private client matters including; Preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorneys, Registering Enduring Powers of Attorneys, Wills and Probate Estates.
Hollie enjoys building relationships with clients, she believes clear and frequent communication helps to progress matters efficiently.
Hollie previously spent 13 years within residential conveyancing, having built up her knowledge and understanding through various roles.

Meet Emily Sherwood, our Associate Solicitor in the Child Care and Family Law department, based at our Nottingham office. We find out what inspired Emily to pursue this particular area of law and what hobbies she enjoys outside of the office.

There has finally been a breakthrough in the deadlock surrounding the Government’s Employment Rights Bill (“ERB”), which has been the subject of significant back-and-forth between the House of Commons and the House of Lords in recent weeks. In particular, there has been much debate around the qualifying period for unfair dismissal claims but it now appears that a compromise has been reached to enable the ERB to pass without further undue delay.

The 2025 Autumn Budget has brought real changes for property owners, landlords, and families – but not the sweeping tax overhaul that many expected. While chancellor Rachel Reeves left stamp duty unchanged, she declared a new annual ‘council-tax-style’ surcharge for £2m+ homes, higher income tax on rents from 2027, and incremental updates to capital gains tax (CGT) and inheritance tax (IHT).
