Lucy Famakinwa is a Paralegal in Rothera Bray’s Child Care team and is based at our Lace Market, Nottingham office.
Lucy supports the Child Care team across a broad spectrum of matters, including care proceedings, private children law cases, and non-molestation orders.
She brings a calm and empathetic presence to her work, recognising that clients are often facing emotionally challenging circumstances. With a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy, Lucy takes pride in making legal processes more accessible to clients while providing reliable and consistent support throughout.
- Lucy worked as an Executive Assistant in the Care team at a London-based firm from 2020-2025
- She provided dedicated administrative support on the case of S (A Child) and W (A Child) (s 20 Accommodation), Re l Citation Number[2023] EWCA Civ, which was an appeal clarifying whether Section 20 of the Children Act 1989 (CA, 1989) can be used for a long-term or permanent placement of children in care
- Lucy joined Rothera Bray as a Paralegal in the Child Care team in November 2025
