Karina Patel is a Paralegal in Rothera Bray’s Personal Injury department and is based at our Lace Market office.

Karina brings a compassionate and client-focused approach to her work in the Personal Injury department. She is empathetic and supportive, taking the time to actively listen and understand each client’s unique circumstances and the challenges they are facing. Her calm and reassuring manner helps clients feel heard and supported throughout what can often be a difficult and emotional process.

Karina is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for every client, combining determination with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

  • During her time at university, Karina was actively involved in student life, volunteering as a course representative, CERT mentor, and student ambassador
  • Karina gained valuable legal experience through internships at Leicestershire County Council, supporting the Head of Litigation and Prosecution from September to November 2024, and at a nationwide law firm in April 2025, where she worked within the Technical Claims team and Corporate department
  • Alongside her final year of study, Karina worked as an Administrative Assistant at a national law firm from June to December 2024, before progressing to the role of Legal Support Assistant from December 2024 to June 2025
  • Karina joined Rothera Bray as a Paralegal in June 2025

Qualifications

  • Karina graduated with First Class Honours in Law with Business from Nottingham Trent University in 2025, where she was recognised as the top-performing student on her course
  • Karina is planning to start the LLM SQE 1 + 2 prep course at the University of Law alongside her paralegal role
