Julie McCrery

• Represents clients in relation to all legal aspects arising on family and matrimonial breakdown with particular emphasis upon resolution of financial issues
• Preparation of and advising upon nuptial agreements (Pre-Nuptial, Post-Nuptial and Cohabitation Agreements) to assist in preservation of family wealth
• Attends to all financial matters from initial meeting with client through all levels of negotiation up to and including Court proceedings, should proceedings be necessary

As a Managing Associate in the Family Law team Julie provides clear and comprehensive advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. Her approach ensures that all available options are carefully considered, with a strong focus on understanding and prioritising each client’s individual needs and objectives.

• Julie has a broad range of experience within Family Law, having worked extensively across all aspects of the discipline. As part of an established team alongside two colleagues, she successfully transitioned to a new firm with the responsibility of re-establishing its Family Department, which she achieved with great success
• In January 2026  Julie and the team moved again to support and continue building Rothera Bray’s Family Department at its firm’s Derby office, further strengthening its presence and reputation in the region
