The team was crowned Catastrophic Injury Team of the Year, while Consultant Julie Walker was honoured as Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year, cementing the team’s position as one of the UK’s leading forces in personal injury and clinical negligence law.

“These awards are a testament to the dedication, expertise, and passion of our Serious Injury team,” said Greg Almond, Partner and Head of Serious Injury at Rothera Bray. “Winning both awards reflects the tireless efforts of the entire team to secure justice and deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients. We are immensely proud of Julie’s individual recognition, which showcases her exceptional contributions to clinical negligence work.”

In securing the Catastrophic Injury Team of the Year award, the Serious Injury team impressed judges with their commitment to achieving successful outcomes and positive settlements for claimants, together with their excellent work on a number of high-profile cases and public campaigns. The team’s innovative approach to client care, their promotion of alternative dispute resolution methods, and their dedication to making a broader community impact set them apart.

Julie Walker’s accolade as Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year highlighted her outstanding work in expanding the firm’s inquest representation services following clinical incidents and recognised her unique tactical and strategic advantage having worked for both Defendant and Claimant firms.

“I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition,” said Julie. “This award reflects the collaborative effort of the entire team and our shared commitment to supporting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives.”

In addition to their wins, our Serious Injury team was a finalist in the Clinical Negligence Team of the Year and Claimant Team of the Year categories. Individual team members were also shortlisted in several prestigious categories:
