Marneya is a Senior Associate Solicitor in our Commercial Property department,  based at our Leicester office. He acts for commercial property lenders, property investors and landowners.

Marneya’s approach is to provide concise and technical advice which is also pragmatic and commercial to achieve completion of the transaction efficiently.

He tailors his service to each of his clients’ requirements and their respective businesses to provide the best commercial and cost-effective advice for the client.

Marneya bases a huge emphasis on communication. He works with clients to ensure that they are kept up to date with timescales, issues that may arise and general progress. Marneya’s aim is to make the legal process as straightforward for you as possible.

 

  • Marneya completed his training at Broomfields Solicitors LLP, 2017 – 2019, where he also was employed as a solicitor upon qualifying.
  • He also gained experience as a paralegal before starting his legal training. He worked BHW Commercial Solicitors, 2016 -2017 – Paralegal
  • Wilson Browne Solicitors, 2019 – 2021 – Solicitor
  • EMW Law LLP, 2021 – 2022 – Senior Solicitor
  • Joined Bray & Bray in 2022 as an Associate Solicitor
  • In June 2025 Marneya was promoted to Senior Associate

  • Awarded a place on an international intensive course at the University of Udine in Italy for my Commercial Law research dissertation and was invited on academic grounds.
  • Awarded two School of Law Commendation Awards in my final year at De Montfort University, on completion of my Law degree.

We recently used Rothera Bray for support with a commercial lease on our new offices and had an excellent experience from start to finish. As a charity, choosing the right solicitor was really important to us, and we approached them based on their strong local reputation. We worked with Marneya, who was fantastic throughout the entire process.
