Marie Brown

Marie assists clients with their initial enquiries on a range of family law matters, including divorce, separation, financial arrangements and issues involving children. She supports the team by guiding new clients through the early stages of their matter and assisting with the preparation of court cases.

Marie understands that people often contact the family team during challenging and emotional periods in their lives. She takes the time to listen carefully to each client’s circumstances, providing a compassionate and supportive approach while ensuring they are kept informed and updated throughout the process.

• Marie started working at a law firm in 1997
• Marie previously worked at Sharp Young and Pearce in the Employment Law and Personal Injury departments as a paralegal before the firm merged with Rothera Dowson in 2016 to become Rothera Sharp, and merged with Bray and Bray in 2023 to become Rothera Bray
• Marie previously worked in Operations/Reception before joining Rothera Bray’s Family team in February 2025
