  • Liam worked as a Paralegal at a Derby based firm in their Commercial Debt Recovery department from August 2019 to June 2021, where he represented a number of high-value listed companies and multi-national firms in pre-action proceedings and litigation
  • Liam was promoted to Senior Paralegal in June 2021 and remained in that role until August 2022
  • Liam joined Rothera Bray as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2022
  • Liam qualified into the Corporate & Commercial Department in September 2024

  • Liam graduated from Nottingham Law School in 2019, achieving a High 2:1 in his Business Law LLB degree
  • Liam undertook his LPC part-time whilst working in Commercial Debt Recovery between 2020 and 2022, completing the course with a Distinction

His communication was excellent, always a speedy response to our queries, translating into plain English so that we could understand the legal jargon and kept us up to date at every stage of the process. He was efficient in every aspect of the sale of the Garage, always happy to guide us through the processes we needed to complete, showing understanding and empathy when we struggled with our IT skills. With living down in Cornwall I needed a reputable company to act on my behalf over some land I owned in Nottinghamshire. I received excellent service from them, especially Liam Wicks who had a very good telephone manner. He kept me informed stage by stage and talked me through using Docu Sign, making it easier for me to sign documents so that I didn't have to travel up to Nottingham. It was also quicker than doing it by Royal mail. I would recommend Rothera Bray to anyone. Thank you Liam you did a great service.
