- Laura then worked as a solicitor at a national law firm from 2014 to 2016, before moving to a Midlands-based firm where she was an Associate Solicitor in the Derby office from 2016 to 2020
- In October 2020, Laura joined Rotheras (now Rothera Bray) as an Associate Solicitor in the Beeston office
- From 2021 to 2026, Laura worked as a Senior Associate in the Derby office of a national law firm
- In May 2026, Laura returned to Rothera Bray, joining as a Managing Associate in the Wills and Probate team
