Gabriella Kent is a Solicitor in Rothera Bray’s Family and Child Care department and is based at our Nottingham Lace Market office.

Gabriella offers a sympathetic and friendly perspective to her clients, being able to adapt and provide a tailored approach dependant on the individual needs of a client. She is committed to being open and honest with her clients about the circumstances and outlook of their case, providing regular updates so clients know where they stand.

She strives to develop her own knowledge outside of the typical legal arena, in areas that may be relevant to her own clients and proceedings.

Gabriella is most proud of the positive changes undertaken by clients, in the best interests of the children. In public proceedings, this may be clients making sustained changes to provide a safe home environment, and in private proceedings, this may be a client setting aside previous parental conflict to create a workable co-parenting dynamic.

  • Gabriella worked for another local Nottingham firm, straight from completion of her masters degree, joining as a paralegal in 2017 before commencing her training contract. She qualified as a solicitor in 2020.
  • Gabriella joined Rothera Bray in June 2022

I am Autistic and have CPTSD (Complex post-traumatic stress disorder). I normally need an intermediary to help me talk to solicitors but not here. I have Gabriella and Lucy. As a team they are the perfect mix. Gabriella is always able to spot when I’m about to have an episode and bring me back to neutral and Lucy’s emails are always Autism friendly. They put in reasonable adjustments I didn’t even ask for like colour coding important parts they need me to concentrate on, consider and respond to. I don’t even need an intermediary with them. They do regular updates which helps keeps me from worrying and most importantly they listen with the intent to comprehend not just respond. If you’re looking for a family solicitor and you have CPTSD or are neurodivergent, these 2 are your best options.

I honestly can’t thank Gabriella and Hannah Lilley at Rothera Bray enough for everything they’ve done for me during my family court case.
