Ann has 20 years’ experience in Wills and Probate law. She originally qualified in Scotland in 2001 before qualifying to practice law in England in 2004.
Ann specialises in Wills, Inheritance Tax planning, Powers of Attorney including acting for lay attorneys, Estate planning and administration, and can assist clients with a wide range of Wills and Probate matters including the drafting of Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, Tax Planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Ann offers a compassionate, understanding approach and caters to the individual and specific needs of clients and their circumstances with empathy and sensitivity, while remaining professional and approachable.
- Ann previously worked for Gillespie Macandrew LLP in Edinburgh as a Trust Manager from 1995 to 2001
- Ann has also worked for Tallents Solicitors, joining the firm in 2008 and becoming Head of Department in 2014
- In 2019 Ann joined Hawley and Rodgers as a Senior Solicitor/Head of Department
- Ann joined Rothera Bray as a Senior Associate in October 2021
- Ann was promoted to Partner in October 2024

- Ann completed a BA degree with Distinction
- Ann completed her Diploma in Legal Practice at University of Edinburgh Law School between 1998 and 1999
- Ann qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2001
- In order to practice law in England, Ann undertook the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS), qualifying in 2004
