We're recruiting: Senior Conveyancing Solicitor – Team Leader
Job description
- Lead and manage the Residential Conveyancing team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to junior solicitors and conveyancers
- Handle a caseload of complex and high-value residential property matters from instruction to completion
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, including Lexcel and CQS
- Drive performance and productivity across the team while maintaining exceptional client service standards
- Collaborate with other senior staff and partners to support strategic objectives and business development opportunities
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, referrers, and other stakeholders
Responsibilities of this role
- Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing
- Proven leadership and team management experience in a legal environment
- Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to growing the team’s client base and enhancing service delivery
